About me

I am a freelance cinematographer who specialised in underwater camera work and drama based work.
In 2013 I moved into installations for museums and other events to use film, showing the human intrest of particular subjects for public display.

My studio work includes running a multicamera studio and edit suite, including designing and buying hardware and software for the studio to be run for a varied use of tasks including:-

Single camera feature film shoots

Special effect shoots with chroma keying

Multicamera TV studio shoots with chroma keying

Set building and art design for the.

Providing onsite First aid and health and safety cover for the shoot.

Externally i have shot live music concerts and feature films on locations. On this I have used a varity of cameras including 35mm and 4K cameras. For lighting I have used a wide varity of rentable film lights including making specialist lights and equipment for the production.

This year i have moved into underwater photography using the PADI system and have mostly dived in harsh northern water, both fresh and sea. I am Dry suit qualified for this activity and will be increasing my certification in this field, combining it with my photography work.
