About me

Edalytics is a self-learning platform for students that uses student performance data to gamify and provide a personalised adaptive learning experience. Content is aggregated from Open Educational Resources such as Khan Academy, BBC Bitesize, OER Commons and other MOOC providers.

Different types of content include videos, games, lesson notes and quizzes.
Students can enrol onto free courses and access the content on desktop, mobile and tablet. Progress and performance is measured and displayed through different gamification and visualization techniques including a points and level system where students gain points after completing activities, moving up in level of difficulty.
Students are also awarded digital badges upon completion of the free courses. Other data analytics tools include progress bars, target lists and quizzes built with artificial intelligence that adapts the difficulty of the questions based on student's ability.
