University Project/Personal Project

Utilising our time spent in Prague, exploring the culture and the vast amount of museum spaces. We had to imagine a new museum space or reimagine a current space and build a brand that really exemplifies that museum.

After exploring the city of Prague, whilst studying brands and spaces, I concluded on imagining a new museum. As some of my evenings consisted of visiting a local underground bar. Where it specifically hosted different DJ’s playing genres of techno music. My passion for music and love for techno led to the Techno Museum, which would focus on building a highlight reel of electronic music through the years. Whilst focusing on giving the user an experience of listening to defining tunes and DJ’s which have shaped this part of the music industry.

My first attempt at this project, was something of a learning curve for myself when building a brand. After analysing the failures of my first attempt, I recognised this project had big potential and took personal time to rebrand this project, to shape a more significant piece of work.
