About me

-I recently relocated from Edinburgh to London and am currently searching for a job.

-My experience is mainly in production but I am doing copy-editing and proofreading work on a freelance basis at present.

-I would like to move into editorial work and have strong transferable skills having worked in a variety of office-based jobs over the years.

-I work well individually, and my past job could also have been described as more of a project manager role; I had a lot of ongoing development projects to work on as well as daily tasks. It was a highly pressured job with constant deadlines, and I felt that I utilised my organisation skills very well.

-I also thrive in a team situation; I greatly enjoy contributing ideas and meetings which involve working towards a common goal.

-I am confident that I am able to build rapport easily with people, and am a very sociable person. I am also an empathic person who is aware of how other people react to situations and respond accordingly.

-I have a lot to offer any job as I apply myself constantly and am always keen to develop my skills with ongoing training.

-I have attended numerous training courses over the years which have helped build confidence in my own ability.

-I have knowledge of a wide range of software programmes and have attended a local college recently to further this knowledge.
