About me

I currently work as an Editorial Assistant on a business-to-business magazine, and have over two years of full-time journalistic experience in this role. I am now looking to move into a role which will allow my career to progress further.

I have considerable experience in all aspects of business-to-business journalism. My position involves researching information from contacts across the globe, through e-mail and telephone conversations, and forming clear, accurate and succinct articles. Furthermore, I have honed my face-to-face interviewing skills at exhibitions and plant visits.

I have written articles ranging from 50 to 1,500 words in length, for both the magazine and the website, with deadlines ranging from ten minutes to a month. The style of my work is flexible and adapts to suit the medium for which I am writing.

While the magazine is released on a monthly basis, there is a constant need to complete articles, both for the website and for the design team to fit into their schedule. I work comfortably and diligently under pressure and am highly organised, thus allowing me to meet a number of concurrent deadlines.

I also write a monthly opinion column and stand-up comedy preview article for a local Brighton magazine, as well as other articles when required.

My current position requires one month's notice.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,

Daniel Searle
