About me
I have a BA in Sociology and a Msc in Social Anthropology. Having recently completed my Post-graduate studies, I began researching for a self-funded visual documentary project in the deserted Communist factories in Romania. The project is currently at post-production and translation stage, in collaboration with a video editing team.
In addition to the documentary project, I became engaged with a local Non Governmental Organisation and took part in interviewing and publishing an article on the forced relocation of Romanian-Gypsies.
My previous experience and research on personal ideas for both my own work as well as academic duties includes: a published report based on a team-field work regarding a Greek-speaking village in Albania, which was done within the frame of an anthropological Summer School, a set of interviews on new religious movements in Larissa, Greece and interviewing exchange students in Bilbao, Spain for a report on cultural adaptation.
My working experience includes paid work for the University of Edinburgh during the academic year as a tutor.
Within university and as a freelancer I have developed my research and organizational skills. My aim is to get envolved with production and research either regarding the documentary industry or any other kind of project.
