About me
If there's something that keeps me motivated everyday is listening to any kind of music.
Music is something that everyone feels related to in one-way or another, and that's magic. I never get bored on knowing new songs, bands or singers from any music style.
I've studied Advertising and PR, this gives me a good perspective on how creativity must be applied on each moment. That's why is important to be focused on the projects I get involved but at the same time get out of the box and let your creativity do it's work.
In Summer 2013, I was one of the lucky people to be selected as one of the interns in Spotify London at the Brand Experience team. While working in Spotify I was also involved in the app Emerge Italy and I was used to speak with labels and publishers from all over Europe to make sure we had all the content needed in the app. I also helped on the design as I know how to use InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, plus editing videos with Final Cut Pro.
Nowadays, being creative is another skill that you must cultivate everyday, I think is very important to keep my right brain side very active and curious about anything. But I've learned that the left-brain is as important as the right. That's why organization is a very important point to make sure I do things on the right way.
For example, deadlines are a must to be well organized; at the end of October I was organizing an event for BASF called "Creatathon" (you can check it on: creatathonagine). My project colleague was in San Francisco from June to September, and I was responsible on having everything done on time in Barcelona, as BASF is a very serious company as far as timings are concerned.
At the same time I was involved in the organization of two other events that took place during the same week -"Cinefórum: Just Eat It" and the "Barcelona International Community Day"-, in this last huge event I was the person in charge of organizing and coordinating all the speakers, a total of 40 people (from 10 different nationalities), plus other individuals and companies involved in other activities during the event, nearly 20.
From now on, I've decided to focus my professional career on the music industry, as I felt in love while working for Spotify. To make sure where I'm getting in to I've started the Music General Studies at Berklee College of Music Online. I started for Music Business 101, which is giving me a proper perspective about the industry and I'm enjoying and learning very interesting things everyday.
