About me
On the successful completion of my A levels, I was able to gain an apprenticeship at the National Portrait Gallery. The nature of my 2 year apprenticeship as a New Media Apprentice has fully prepared me for this position in many ways. It involved a great deal of creative work that required initiative, self-motivation and a wide range of skills. Not only was I able to learn what a working office environment was like whilst furthering my skills in a variety of creative and digital subjects and platforms, I was able to complete qualifications at the same time.
These qualifications were a Level 3 diploma in creative and digital media, and a Level 3 technical certificate in creative and digital media, both of which I completed successfully at my work environment and at a local college. Having these qualifications to complete whilst having my usual day to day work given by my organisation, really allowed me to manage my time management skills, as I had many deadlines to meet for both. After gaining these skills and the experience in my apprenticeship, I feel I am ready to take on a more advanced role, where I can challenge myself and gain more knowledge to use in my future roles and careers. I am able to take on the responsibility of this position immediately, and have the enthusiasm and determination to ensure that I make a success of it. Thank you for taking the time to consider this application and I hope to hear from you in the near future.
