Hi guys!

I'm a copywriter from North London with three years' experience in a really wide range of subjects (from face-on-desk-mundane to fascinating) and initially wanted to be a journalist. However, when I graduated from Warwick with an MA in Writing, the only options available included The Sun and The Daily Mail, so I went for copywriting! I love that the role you've advertised includes research and journalism as well as writing, and I could be an asset to you. I've got an irritatingly good memory (just ask my poor partner), an endless thirst for knowledge (about absolutely anything) and can spot a spelling mistake at 100 yards. On top of which, I've got just enough experience to not require babysitting, but not so much that I'm stuck in one style and can't get through the door because of my ego! I'd love to work for you, and I'd greatly appreciate it if you'd take a look at my CV. I realise you've read hundreds of these letters today, so I've tried to leave out the standard stuff (punctual, efficient etc).
