Dear Sir or Madam,

I am a Freelance Graphic designer and I am writing to apply for a
position with your firm. I believe my background experience, knowledge,
creative flair and skill set match the requirements necessary to
undertake work within your company.

It is in my nature to undertake new challenges, broaden my knowledge
and provide my own creative input towards ongoing projects.

I am highly experienced with Adobe CS4 programs such as Illustrator,
Photoshop, Indesign, Dreamweaver, HTML and CSS. I have also had many
opportunities to develop my skills in typography, page layout and
vector layer imagery skills through designs for business associates and
friends. In addition, I hold a certificate in I-media web design,
achieving a Distinction for my quality of work.

Currently I am working on a six month contract with the True
Volunteer Foundation on their “Empowerment through
education” campaign. I have been instructed to head the design
project due to my graphic design skills. So far I have designed banners
and posters as affective advertising for raising poverty awareness.

As a professional artist, I create many different design ideas and
illustrations, and am known for my creative and unique mindset. This
was well documented when I had a small collection of my works displayed
by “Showcase London”, which are a well known art gallery
situated in East London.

I feel that my work experience as a graphic designer has greatly
helped developed my teamwork and communication skills. Also my previous
management roles with William Hill and Waitrose presented numerous
situations to develop my problem-solving, time-management and
leadership skills. It is my conviction that I will provide an exciting
opportunity for me to employ these skills whilst continually refining
my knowledge and experience within the industry through working both
independently and within a team.

I am young, enthusiastic, hard-working and passionate about graphic
design, and I very much hope to demonstrate that I will be an asset to
your firm.
