Fast Company is a leading business publication with an editorial focus on innovation in technology, ethonomics, leadership and design. They commissioned Superfried to create the identity for their Creativity Counter-Conference to be staged at 72andSunny’s Playa Vista headquarters in LA.

The brief specified that the logo should feel like a sibling to the identity for their New York Conference. Despite this request it was also essential that the identity for LA maintained complete distinction and independence.

With the brief in mind, continuity was maintained via the use of a 3D style for the letterforms. After various approaches, isometric delivered the sharp, confident effect required. Continuity was further enhanced via the continued use of the neutral palette and shading.
