I'm a self-starting and enthusiastic worker with a passion for marketing! I've worked as a freelance creative on multiple corporate projects for the past few years whilst studying towards my degree and since graduating and I have developed the necessary skills to thrive in a position such as this. I've got a strong ethos is working hard and I pride myself on my resilient and proactive nature. I have an intuitive approach to projects, being able to adapt to new situations and technologies within an ever-changing industry. I'm certain I can make a valuable contribution to the team and be successful in this role.
I recently headed a multimedia marketing campaign for a global conference, where my responsibilities included creating marketable content across an array of formats, and finding suitable platforms in which to market them. I interconnected the conference with countries all around the globe, raising awareness through a vibrant and engaging marketing campaign. I approached the project in a creative and innovative manner, whilst researching and investigating the market in order to better understand my creative brief. I had to plan and manage a budget and work with a small team to market the conference before, during and after the event. I demonstrated the desired skills for this job in doing this event, including strong decision-making and coming up with interesting and original ideas to make the event a success. I had to remain organised and flexible, ensuring that deadlines were met, whilst managing a small team and continuing strong creative and intuitive solutions.
Studio Canal offered me a summer placement in their head office in London. My responsibilities included assisting the marketing department, with creating new ideas for live projects. I learnt a lot about industry standards and I was able to develop my knowledge and skills further and apply my intuition to commercial ventures. I pride myself for having a keen eye for detail and I'm passionate about marketing in all mediums and I've got practical experience in using digital design software, such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
I'm an extremely intuitive and adaptable worker and would be able to work with the demand of changing creative requirements and bale to work wherever and whenever is needed. I'm able to work to tight deadlines in high-pressure situations and produce high quality results.
I've got a tremendous love for all things outdoors, having grown up in the North Lakes and I really feel that I understand Helly Hansen's core values. This, as well as the skills I have developed during my various experiences would make me an ideal candidate for this position and I would very much like to be considered for this role.
