Sir, Madam,
Born in Paris, I've always wanted to pursue an international career as I'm a very open-minded person and I enjoy working in a multi-cultural environment. I moved to New York where I finished my studies. I lived there for three years and discover a whole new world of opportunities, meeting with interesting young people willing to start their own companies or to develop new ideas. This experience was very inspirational for me and I decided to change my career path (I used to be a lawyer). I got experience working in PR and as an event manager for an entertainment company for six months, and working in business development for another company to introduce in France a new game for kids.
I also started my own jewelry brand two years ago. For me, it was the best way to learn as much as possible, to meet with entrepreneurs, to exchange ideas in a creative world. I took care of the entire project by myself, creating the website, contacting retailers across the country, organizing events to introduce and sell my products, dealing with PR (social media mostly, the press)... I organized one big event in Paris called "Women are heroes", to promote french brands created by women. Thanks to this experience I understood the difficulties about Community Management. As far as I'm concerned the first rule is to never let go. You have to be present full time through the social medias, the press, through promotional events, so people can always hear about your brand and never forget about it. To work for my own jewelry brand was an amazing experience and I would like now to be part of an inspiring team and to help develop new projects.
