Howl_ A Coffee App, offering information and personalised recommendations.

The name Howl is in reference to the nocturnal life of a caffeine lover. I wanted to visually distant Howl from the 'Beards and Filters' aesthetic that is often paired with Coffee design (not that I have a problem with that look… its half my portfolio). I've tried to create a playful and fun aesthetic to express the creativity associated with coffee culture, aswel as its connections with art and literature hence the name’s side nod the great Ginsberg poem.

Coffee exists to fuel you, to inspire you, to keep you going for that deadline or as a catalyst for your morning’s work; I wanted to tap into the interrelationship between the artist and the drink we all love.

This is personal / concept work, the images only serve to give a representation of the design. Designed using Balsamiq, Indesign and visualised in After Effects - this is only a mock-up.
