About me

It is true I may boast limited experience in the world of Creative Arts especially working within films as I am a graduate in Law (LLB) with Business. However, this undermines the passion I have for this industry, the creative world, especially in Films and TV and as an aspiring creative writer this is a role which I highly desire.

This obsession stems from being a creative individual with many ideas that I want to explore and share stories with other aspiring writers and visionaries, as I have been writing scripts and visualizing ideas as well as watching new content to keep up to date with the creative world. Also, studying the greats and their interpretation of an evolving world in Film and TV and learning more, by completing a six-week course in regards to writing and perfecting screenplays which was taught by Carol Harrison (The Bill and EastEnders).

Furthermore, I have a huge fascination about films and its creation and with an opportunity to work with film directors, brainstorming concepts and script ideas for major brand campaigns to create ads, films and online content is an opportunity that I have long dreamt of. An ambition and eagerness to develop further and advancing in this industry is one that I am adamant will be accomplished, through hard work and willingness to adapt to different types of situations along with a creative mind-set. I think it's safe to say what I lack in experience, I make up for with my passion and hunger for this industry.

In regards to the nature of my degree, this has prepared me immensely, conducting independent research and being able to work within teams on group projects. Also, I have obtained necessary legal and business skills which has required me to read and examine, thoroughly a range of different situations and case studies and being able to process this information and present my findings and results towards an audience, which acquires not only good written skills but verbal skills also. Also, the business aspect has included learning more about marketing tools and finance which is essential in the land of Film and TV and can bring this knowledge to the organisation.

Conclusively, this is an opportunity which really stands out to me and I approach this with my heart and soul. Despite not holding any experience physically, I am knowledgeable and very enthusiastic about the area of Film and TV. This is a position I can bring my thoughts and creative process with confidence. This is an opportunity I have longed dreamt of, I'm not only used to wearing many hats, I sincerely enjoy it; I thrive in an environment where no two work days are the same which is essential in the creative environment. In addition, the chance to develop ideas and write scripts for creative production and working with like-minded individuals is a position I approach with great intensity, and with a burning passion and desire, with a willingness to work hard, along with perseverance, I know I can be a success in this field.
