Dear Sir / Madam,

I have attached my CV for the following job opportunity: Proofreader / copywriter for Clarity.

I have had extensive experience in proofreading, both freelance and through paid employment. I am also self-employed as a proofreader for academic pieces of work - This is something which has been very successful and has allowed me to further my experience and knowledge of the subject. Despite this, I am looking to further my career into a permanent role, in order to distinguish my skills as a proofreader.

As well as well, I was made the Science editor of The Student Journals, in 2014. Thus, I have a vast appreciation for working to tight deadlines and know what is expected of me within this industry.
