About me
I am an international event executive with more than 20 years of experience creating and delivering live events across sport, entertainment and major international productions.
My career started in television, where I worked as a journalist, writer, producer and Creative Producer before moving into live sport with the Athens 2004 Olympic and Paralympic Games. Since then, I have worked across Olympic and Paralympic Games, World Championships, international multi-sport events, professional sport, destination events and branded experiences across Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East.
My work sits between creativity and operations. I have led projects, built and managed teams, developed Sport/Game Presentation programmes, produced live shows, called events from the control room and managed the planning, budgets, venues, technical production and operational details needed to turn an idea into a live experience.
I have worked with Organising Committees, International Federations, professional sports organisations, event agencies, government organisations and commercial partners, across more than 60 sports and sporting disciplines.
What still interests me after all these years is the same thing that attracted me to live production in the first place: taking something that exists as an idea, building the people and systems around it, and watching it become real.
That is the work I enjoy.
