Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing regarding the position for Social Media & Comms Whizz Kid on Creative pool. Being a graduate of Nutrition and Health, I am highly passionate about Healthy living and aim to develop a career in Health promotion. During my studies, I gained much knowledge in Nutrition such as; supplementation, nutrition through the lifespan, clinical nutrition and epidemiology. During this degree, I also studied food science and leant about microbiology, quality control, food hygiene, labelling, HACCP. I would really appreciate putting my knowledge into practice and gaining further experience within the industry of nutrition and health.

My experience as a Technical assistant at Bakkavor Meals has helped me gain much experience within the food industry, where my duties involve; investigating customer complaints, organising nutritional testing of products and logging results, taste panel creating factory paperwork, organising deliveries, auditing and collecting samples. I have also gained confidence when liaising with other internal departments and customers during customer taste panels and assisting the manager with internal and retailer enquiries. This role also requires creating factory paperwork and completing reports in which I have gained good practice in excel and word.

I feel that retail has also given me valuable skills such as the ability to work in a small team, communicate effectively with all members, problem solve using my own initiative, work well under pressure, building relationships with customers and meticulous attention to detail. I also advanced my computer literacy whilst working as an admin assistant where I used specialist software, produced spread sheets and helped with presentations. I would also consider myself as a reliable worker, strive to do my best in every task and always build a good rapport with colleagues.

I am extremely looking forward to developing a career within this field and with my knowledge in food science and nutrition combined with my constant use on social media and passion for healthy living , I feel that I will be ideal candidate for your company.
