Dear Sir/Madame,

After graduating from the University of Portsmouth with a BA (Hons) degree in English Literature in July 2014 I was lucky to become a team member at EMP Media. It was a three month internship and I have taken away so much experience, knowledge and some lovely new friends.

I was the assistant to the Digital Content Editor for the At Home magazine and Jobs and Careers magazine websites.

Through using CMS I sourced, edited and uploaded relevant and engaging content onto the websites, I also was encouraged to research current trends in order to write my own content which was very exciting. I found liaising with clients through email and telephone, discussing their company and article ideas, right through to the publishing stage a fulfilling and engaging job role.

Furthermore I was encouraged to write my own content which was very exciting, so essentially I also took on a junior copy writer role. Below are the links to a couple of my articles.

In collaboration, I had to ensure website traffic was sustained and constantly growing. Therefore I took full responsibility of their digital media platforms, promoting the content from the websites, scheduling posts and interacting with the followers and readers live. I had to be extremely organised with vigilant time management skills as I always had multiple projects on the go, as well as keeping up with the fast paced world of digital media, such as keeping posts up to date and regular.

I currently work for a digital marketing company called Exposure Ninja Ltd, it's an online marketing business that thrives on helping clients achieve the best results through developing their SEO, Web Design, Social Media, PR and Content Writing. I started off as a PR Assistant and Copywriter for a number of clients, but I have just been given the responsibility of managing the Exposure's social media accounts; forming and implementing strategies in order to sustain brand awareness, generate traffic and engage new and potential audiences. Exposure has supplied me with training materials where I have learnt a lot about digital/social media marketing, where I am continuing to learn and progress.

Both my roles have enabled me to work and experience both sides of the editorial process. My goal is to relocate to London due to the desire to work in the busyness and buzz of the city! I want to make roots in a company that will allow me to make my mark and let my creative juices flow, whilst guiding me in the process. I am a highly creative, driven, determined 'people' person who wants to take the next step into her career.

I have references available from my previous editor and the production manager which I can send over on request.

Kindest regards

Stephanie
