Dear Apostrophe,

I would like to apply for the freelance copywriter position.

I am interested in the position because I believe in the power of beautiful copy to help companies build brands and customer relationships.

I am the founder and lead editor of an online publication which focuses on strategy, innovation, economics and other business topics (). The publication currently has over 1,000 email subscribers. I am a graduate of Oxford University where I studied a masters in financial economics. I am also an Australian qualified lawyer having worked on more than $3 billion worth of deals over a three year period, an experience which provided me with a deep understanding of branding, intellectual property and the power of language to shape and define relationships.
