About me
I am a book designer and editorial art-director, having worked almost exclusively with illustrated non-fiction publications for the past ten years and with comprehensive integrated design studio experience previously.
I design titles on visual culture, art, architecture and design. I am extremely familiar with illustrated book production workflows and complex editorial project management involving authors, illustrators, photographers and other contributors. I work with trade titles, carefully considering their place in the bookshop alongside their competition and how they would feel as an object.
I am technically curious and very skilled with design tools. I like finishes and paper, and have a deep love and understanding of typography and printing techniques, but I also possess a strong interest in interface design and general trends that steer contemporary cultural production.
