Tangents in dreams is a collaborative idea I've been sat on for a while. I've wanted to shoot impossibly balanced images for a while, initially starting with just food on white backgrounds with a very commercial approach. As time went by, the idea grew, taking inspiration from surrealist paintings and wanting to have a less commercial influence. Photography for the love of the art form. I, along with stylist Alice Lewis arrived at a much more structured set with the objects stacked within, reminiscent or ancient mediterranean structures and spaces.
