About me
Firstly a little bit about myself, Im a fashion and textiles student currently studying at college in Norwich City. My interest in fashion design and art dates back to my early years where I would excel in Art, Design achieving GCSE grade A and A*'s.
Im very passionate about design and know this is the career for me from experiencing a wide variety of techniques at college; Crochet through to screen print, Batik through to Devore.
I have plenty of samples and sketchbooks filled with ideas avaliable.
A recent conversation with my Fashion lecturer who is in the fashion field, has reinforced just how difficult it is to succeed in the design industry. To many this would seem intimidating and some what off-putting, but it has given me added strength, ambition and determination to keep striving for my chosen career.
Throughout college I have always been employed at Stead and Simpsons, a recognised Shoe shop, and Breckland leisure centre as a Life Guard with First Aid. Here I have grown and learnt the importance of team work, communication and leadership. My employment requires commitment and dedication which are two of many skills I comprise of.
I have a real flare for design and am able to produce many textile/ surface pattern samples for any given theme or idea.
Thanks!
