To whom it may concern,

I wish to apply for the post of graphic designer at Camelot. As you'll see from my CV, I'm a hands on designer, who works from concept through to the finished print ready artwork. I've gained a wide variety of experience in gambling games, sports and leisure related projects having worked at Paddy Power for over 5 years. My post at Paddy Power involved designing numerous posters, window vinyls, football coupons, screens, leaflets, loyalty cards, POS, POP, free standing display units, dispensers, T-shirts and in-shop graphics. In addition to the promotional campaigns, I also produced all the social responsibility work, staff handbooks and recruitment ads. With skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign combined with a good knowledge of print production and finishing techniques, I can successfully work from concept to the finished print ready artwork.

Whilst most of my work's mainly print based, I've also completed various digital projects, having designed the user interface and all the interactive buttons on the Self Service Betting Terminals, some static web banners, plus a number of in-shop TV screens for the video gantry. Constantly liaising with clients and print suppliers to determine a projects success, I can ensure work is printed correctly, on time and on budget.

I've gained a vast amount of retail design experience having produced, packaging, branding and in-store graphics for a variety of clients including Debenhams, New Look, House of Fraser, TK MaXX and Tesco.

As a down to earth, honest, hard working individual, I always apply extra effort in order to exceed peoples expectations. When possible I do my utmost to put others needs before my own and constantly strive to become an active, valuable and helpful team member. In addition I'd also like to point out that living in Uxbridge I'm also ideally located to work in either London or Watford.
