About me
To whom it may concern,
Having joined a game development company during the final year of my university degree, which I obtained a First Class Honours from, I have gained considerable experience and knowledge in 3D modelling each and every day since. I have worked my way from a 2 week-long internship to becoming the Lead 3D artist and now overlook two Junior 3D artists. However, I feel it is time to begin applying myself in a different and more innovative environment.
I have worked extensively on interactive 3D visualisations and E-Learning/ training materials over the last 4 years. Within my first year, I was given the responsibility to manage the entire art-direction/creation of a 3D visualisation of a multi-million pound set of apartment blocks. I traveled to India for 5 weeks to liaise with the client and manage a small team of artists, while also working on the 3D assets themselves. While the core requirement was to produce an interactive walk-through of the apartment spaces, it was also extremely important to show accuracy and realism throughout the experience in an attempt to show them off to potential buyers before they were even built; this involved having to recreate hundreds of hand-selected furniture assets to decorate the rooms.
I have also worked on creating visuals for E-Learning content such as a 3D plumbing application designed to teach plumbing students their core skill-set and potentially reduce material wastage.
I have provided a copy of my Curriculum Vitae, however, if I can provide any clarification on it or further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for your time and consideration, and I hope to hear back from you.
Sincerely,
Elliott Mallard
