Dear Sir

For the over twenty years I have worked in the print industry. I started in prepress shooting artwork and scanning images on a drum scanner and creating the four colour separations required for plating.

As technology evolved I found myself evolving too.

During my many years in prepress I have gained experience in the following :-

A fluent knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Pitstop and QuarkXpress on both Mac and PC platforms. And as I have also worked within a busy printers, I have great understanding of Preps and CTP workflows having worked with both Apogee and Prinergy.

I also have a working knowledge of Microsoft applications.

A high-end knowledge of retouching and colour correction whether it be from a client specification or a verbal brief.

Dealing with and rectifying problems that occur within files that have been sent to press.

I have always enjoyed working with people and think my previous experience will allow me to work as part of the team and to be an effective representative of your company.
