Dear Hiring Manager,

I am writing to you in regards to the open position of Visual Designer, which I am very interested in. I was excited to learn about your opening through Indeed, as your position fits my background and career goals. I am planning to relocate to the area and would love the opportunity to work as part of the Mindspace team.

I am a Studio Art graduate from the University of Iowa that is passionate about all things design. I have developed a strong background in many facets of art, including graphic design, photography, illustration, and various 3-D disciplines. I believe that when combined, all the skills I possess make for incredibly dynamic and creative design solutions. Through my education, professional experience, and freelance work, I have gained valuable experience designing advertising and marketing materials, including branding systems, professional posters, brochures, advertisements, logos, email newsletters and websites.

I have had three years of experience in graphic design and enjoy problem solving through this medium. I pride myself on getting projects done on time, but most importantly, at the highest quality. I am a self-starter, but also enjoy collaborating with a team to develop the right concepts and message for any design.

I love the concept of gamifying a customer's experience to better connect with their favorite brands and would feel privileged to contribute my design skills towards Mindspaces' vision to create better and more interactive customer experiences.
