Dear Sir/Madam,
I wish to apply for the role of Footwear Designer, currently being advertised. Please find enclosed my CV for your consideration.
As you can see from my attached CV, I have over the past few months, I have had experience in the Footwear industry, and I believe the knowledge and skills built up during this time make me the right/perfect candidate for the role.
I have just recently finished a 3 month internship for K1X in Munich, Germany, designing athletic performance footwear for professional basketball players in the NBA (including rookie Andrien Payne for the Timberwolves, also designed colour ways for his existing sneaker model the AG),and for the German national basketball league, and national team.
In my current role as an Footwear/Apparel Designer at Ball'n Basketball, I have been responsible for designing apparel and footwear for the NBA, NBA Teams, and players themselves, which when coupled with my enthusiasm, dedication, self motivation and creativity, has helped me become a better designer, and more knowledge about my field.
Before working for Ball'n, I was also a freelance footwear designer for brands and designers around the world, and also started my own footwear brand, and apparel brand to gain experience in the market and the design process.
I am confident that I can bring this level of success with me to your organisation and help your brand build upon their reputation. With my previous experience and expertise, I believe my contribution will have an immediate impact on the business.
