About me

I am a recent Interior Design graduate from Vancouver, Canada who has relocated to London to launch my career as an Interior Designer. I am highly motivated, creative, and personable, and have great written and verbal communication skills. I am detail oriented, have a proven ability to multi task and complete projects to a high standard. I am driven to create spaces that inspire.

Born the daughter of a cabinet maker and a photographer with a propensity for D.I.Y., I have been surrounded by drywall, paint samples, custom frames, and matching throw rugs for as long as I can remember. It wasn't until well in to my degree in Psychology at the University of British columbia, however, that I realized that my true passion is for how our physical environments can be modified and manipulated to optimize our day-to-day lives.

I completed my psychology degree at U.B.C. in 2012, and went on to obtain my Certificate of Interior Design at the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2014. At B.C.I.T. I was able to work with and learn from an inspiring group of students and instructors, and gain hands-on experience in the field of interior design.

Now that I have relocated to London, I am ready to do what I have always done for fun as a career. As a Design Assistant for Westrock, I will be able to harness my passion for designing creative, aesthetic and dynamic spaces, while building on the skills that I have developed over the course of my academic education, as well as through work and life experience. I am available to begin work immediately and have open, flexible availability. I look forward to meeting with you in person to discuss this position.
