I should like to express an interest in work experience as a 3D product designer within your company. Intelligent and creative, I have the capacity to generate radical ideas within a short time and bring them into reality. My design thinking is versatile and innovative and I have product manufacturing and project management skills. Moreover, I am a cheerful person, like challenges and work efficiently. I hope others enjoy my company during a busy day.

I earned an MA in product design from Birmingham Institute of Art and Design at Birmingham City University. I am interested in the design of user-product interactions. I consider how a product influences people and how its communication symbolically relates to user emotion based on user experience. I believe that the philosophy behind the product is to explore the relationship between emotion, consciousness and expression through the form of design. I would like to utilise these design theories in my later designs.

With a formal mechanical engineering background, I worked as a product design engineer in an electronic company affiliated with ASUS, HP, ACER, DELL and TOSHIBA to design laptops. I was responsible for conducting design research for new products that had to do with concept development, 2D and 3D visualizations and materials selection. Moreover, I also needed to solve issues in the manufacturing process from first mock-up to mass production. Project management, data consolidation and information organization were also my duties. Moreover, I had working experience with international customers, and I know how to communicate efficiently with customers to achieve a goal successfully.

I am a risk taking person! During my studies at BCU, I made an attempt to challenge the boundary of design, to innovate the task of my project. I am fascinated by design and enjoy sharing my design concept with people. I have been involved in several fields of study during the past few years such as engineering, psychology, biology, art and music for the purpose of bringing inspirations to my team and myself. In addition, I speak English and Mandarin Chinese. I believe I could make a real contribution to your company by capitalising on my cross-cultural experience, design skills and my engineering knowledge to assist in your creative work.
