About me

I have been working in the digital media environment for over 6 years in various production roles, and wish to continue my career in web production and content management.

My career has been mainly lifestyle brands and entertainment industries. I started at an agency working predominantly on Xbox. My first year of working on their bespoke CMS was based around preparing imagery for publication and anglicising copy before uploading to their live status. Soon after I was helping evolve the site and streamline our production processes; I was leading the team as a production manager whereby I was scheduling the workload, liaising with the client and helping develop more complex solutions for Xbox.

I took a break from the private sector to pursue a master's degree in Creative Writing, earning a distinction from Newcastle University. I returned to digital as a Producer for The Walt Disney Company. In this role my main duties involved liaising with development agencies and internal departments to produce websites on a bespoke CMS. I introduced the Drupal platform to the business as an interim solution whilst we developed a new CMS platform.

In my spare time I work as a writer on both commissioned work and solo projects. I feel that I would be well suited to aiding the content team in their delivery and also ensuring the production of content meets very high editorial standards.
