About me

My passion is creating well thought out and attractive user interfaces. This comes from over 17 years of agency & commercial experience. I spent over three of these years as part of the Blinkbox Music & TV UX team, where we constantly user tested and improved our software's usability as well as developing personas and doing user research. This experience taught me a great deal and ignited a passion for a return to visual design with one simple mantra - "to minimise the cognitive load". More recently I have spent time both contacting and working with smaller agencies, refining my own style of collaborative & lean user- experience design, drawing on my all of my life experiences and a continuous quest for knowledge. I have also spent time as team manager and a front-end developer, and have advanced skills in HTML & CSS and now CSS3 & SASS, which gives me a wider perspective of the possibilities and costs of interface changes.
