The Challenge
The world is awash with brightly coloured Bubble tea cafés on every street corner from Seoul to Southend. But Gong cha isn’t like other bubble tea brands; they're the real deal. With their own tea gardens in Vietnam, Taiwan and Sri Lanka, they grow real whole-leaf tea picked by generations of tea masters long before it’s turned into the vibrant, milky, bubbly tea you‘d find in one of their cafés.
The Platform
We created a long-lasting brand platform to begin their tea story: How Tea Is Meant To Be
The Idea
We launched the brand platform with a fun, fast-moving spinning film with Gong cha at the centre – growing the tea (at high altitude), the flavours of the tea (modern and creative) and how tea should be enjoyed (with friends).
We launched across 15 countries with ambient in-store digital screens, DOOH and, of course, across social.
