About me

Working as Marketing Manager for Andrew London Lucas, I coordinated meetings with senior management to integrate marketing schemes, tracked metric performance and marketing activities and prepared market research and data for management to review. I also created a social media strategy that saw a 35% in engagement among their various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn).

As the Media Relations Coordinator for LLB Inc, my job duties included writing, editing and updating company website on several CMS platforms such as Wordpress, Matrix and SiteFinity. I pitched and placed key stories and events with several local and national newspapers as well as blog sites and radio networks. Also, I devised and implemented best strategies for our social media campaigns, which saw an increase of 20% on both Twitter and Facebook. In addition to that, I also provided support for departmental and organizational outreach functions including creating editorial calendars, brochure, newsletter, annual reports, webinar set-up and member mailing items.

At CIDI (Center for International Disaster Information) as their Social Media Specialist, my responsibilities included: developing targeted advertisement campaigns for the clients target demographic; identifying and distributing relevant news stories on our social media platforms and website; expanding awareness and visibility of brand/ messaging; tracking our social media performance using metrics while working with senior management to create and monitor social media outreach and strategies for PSAID 8th annual competition. My in-depth understanding of the current social and digital media landscape enabled me to boost CIDI's website viewership by over 60%.
