About me

Dear Sir/Madam

My name is Zoe Delautre, I am a London based Illustrator. I recently completed my MA on Communication design and Illustration at Kingston University with a distinction. Previously I also successfully completed my BA in Fine Arts at the Complutense University in Madrid, Spain.

During my time at university I gained experience in the image making process using traditional and digital techniques. I was also recently awarded the New Graduate Award at the LondonPrintStudio in Harrow Road where have been offered an art residency. I have also recently finished working as an intern for Cent Magazine, in the roles of Illustrator and Artworker.

Illustration, art and design are my passion and have dedicated many years to develop my skills in the image making process, both in traditional and digital media. I have experience using 2D programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign. I have also a passion for comics; my final project for my MA was a comic that I wrote and illustrated, which was exhibited in the Hoxton gallery in East London in 2014.

I have previously collaborated with film makers doing illustrations for their films, such as the short film "Double Top" written and directed by Gus Alvarez. The film, in which my realistic sketches can be seen, featured in the Portobello Film Festival in 2012 and was shortlisted for best film. Said Illustrations can be seen in my website.

I am currently working on a series of screen-print portraits at the LondonPrintStudio, that will be exhibited in August in the LGBT Performing Arts Festival in York and the L Festival in Uttoxeter.

I believe that given my qualifications I could be a good candidate for this role. I am a quick learner and am excited to improve as an illustrator and designer.
