Dear Sir/Madam,

I would be most grateful if you could consider my application for the exciting position advertised.

I have a BSc (Hons) degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Middlesex University. Since graduating in 2009 I ran a very successful private clinic. I was responsible for my entire income and recruiting clients. I developed the necessary skills for effective business marketing online as well as off line.

I have strong experience in using Google AdWords and other advertising platforms to effectively target relevant segments of the community who would have been likely to have interest in my service.

I also am able to perform detailed analysis of current campaigns using Google Analytics and other software and to adjust ads when necessary in order to get the highest possible conversion rate.

During this time I was also working within the NHS where I gained invaluable experience in interacting with a wide range of people from different cultures and background. Through working with often quite unwell and anxious people, I have developed a high level of customer service and empathy towards others. I pride myself on being very personable and approachable.

I have been extensively involved in The Llama Post, a blog profiling unique individuals who have built a strong Internet presence, be that through YouTube, creative e-commerce or through blogging.

The blog focuses on their positive message and how these platforms may have helped them realise their goals in their life and career. Through interviewing a wide range of people from very diverse industries. I have developed excellent experience writing concise and relevant content in order to engage people on a variety of subjects. The targeted was incredibly important for effective SEO and improvement of the overall ranking on Google for the website and also for the people involved in the post.

I am a massive gamer and I was also involved with a blog devoted to Nintendo's Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which distilled current news and gossip about the franchise. The blog is currently around 12 months old and has received 348,843 views.

I achieved this through high quality focused copy but also through highly targeted ad campaigns on Google, Twitter and Facebook. I also successfully used other platforms such as Google+, Pinterest and Instagram to draw people to the site.

I have recently completed a certificate on An Introduction to Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania delivered in partnership by Coursera and a certificate in Social Media Marketing from the Social Media Academy delivered in partnership with Udemy.

I am incredibly passionate in using the Internet as a tool for promotion and development. I see social media and digital marketing as being vitally important in the future of marketing and brand promotion.
