The holidays just got a little brighter—and zestier! STARRY® Cranberry Blizz marks the brand’s first-ever flavor extension: a festive, zero-sugar twist on lemon-lime soda. Launching 12 oz 12-packs and 2-liter SKUs during the most wonderful time of the year, our team in North America crafted a visual identity for this limited-time offering into an illustrated winter wonderland full of playful characters, flavor-forward details, and holiday magic.
The launch of STARRY® Cranberry Blizz offered a chance to expand the brand’s universe while maintaining its signature zest. We needed to take the joyful personality of STARRY® and give it a cranberry twist without losing the core lemon-lime equities. To stand out on shelves, in social feeds, and at holiday gatherings, we developed artwork with a festive but irreverent Gen-Z-friendly edge. From packaging to animated characters, we built a 360-degree experience that turned our brand’s first LTO into a true holiday moment.
Our approach infused winter whimsy into the STARRY® signature aesthetic. A bright cranberry palette evoked holiday warmth, while whimsical snowscape illustrations set the stage. Brand mascots Lem and Lime stepped in as festive ambassadors—decked out in Santa hats, tossing snowballs, and bringing our brand’s playful attitude to life. Beyond packaging, our artwork extended into retail, social, and digital space, with dynamic animations of Lem and Lime making snow angels, playing in the snow, and even hanging out in Santa’s workshop. From dreamy new product photography to in-store displays, we built a cohesive suite of visuals that presented a refreshing take on the holiday season.
Thousands of engagements with STARRY® Cranberry Blizz on social media proved that soda lovers were ready for this splash of holiday cheer. The cheery and cohesive design system ensured the launch was more than just a seasonal drop—it became an invitation to celebrate the sparkle of the season with STARRY®.
