About me

Hello Qubit,

My name is Jack Watson and I am writing with interest in the Junior Digital Designer position posted on Creative Pool.

I am a conscientious designer who has a genuine interest in the effectiveness of carefully considered and properly executed design. I have a broad design background encompassing architecture, graphic design and branding, and have been working towards a move into a digital design career. For this reason I have been learning HTML5 and CSS3 markup in my spare time, building upon my existing knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Photoshop and Illustrator. I am always eager to learn new software and apply myself to developing my skillset. While my personal design style is minimalistic and clean, I like to keep on top of trends in the community by browsing projects on Behance and Dribbble.

Working at Qubit would be a great opportunity to get involved in the fascinating world of big data. I believe my experience and design understanding would prove valuable in outputting work that can influence user behaviour, create positive user experiences and ultimately lead to higher conversion rates for online retailers. I just hope the beret sported by the designer on the Qubit website is optional!
