About me

My name is Valter Costa, I am a certified audio technician by "ETIC - Image and Communication Technical School" in Lisbon, Portugal.

My current objective is to pursue a career in professional audio in a challenging position, I seek an opportunity to constantly and very intensively work with audio every day, improving knowledge and growing as a professional.

My first contact with audio, began after starting playing live in a band at the age of 19, during that period, I developed an interest in professional audio, and it didn't took to long for me to assume the role of audio technician during our live performances.

This gave me experience with, microphone placement, stage backline setup, small P.A. systems, and sound checks in bars and small stages.

Then, I felt the need to learn more and went to a technical school to study audio with professionals, where I have consolidated and developed my technical skills.

I recently became interested in sound design and audio post-production and started to develop my skills in that area.

I am always trying to learn and continuously evolve, and I always try to excel myself in order to achieve the best possible results, because I love what I do.
