As an enthusiastic and conscientious individual, I am confident that I have the potential to excel in this role and contribute to the overall success of the business. I believe that the deadline driven nature of my English degree and work experience has prepared me for this position; I am a focused, creative and vibrant writer with a keen eye for intricate detail.

With extensive writing experience, I am able to produce insightful and interesting written copy that is reflective of the subject, and can engage with the target audience effectively. Due to the diverse natures of my work experiences, I consider myself to be a versatile and adaptable writer. My impeccable attention to detail and editorial skills enable me to recognise patterns, organise ideas and create clarity and momentum when reshaping content. With a flexible approach to language, I have developed the ability to be critical on content and ensure that it always adheres the appropriate tone of voice.

As you can see, I am somebody that lives and breathes social media. With extensive experience managing social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google+, Instagram and Pinterest, I am familiar with all the tools that govern this field and fully understand the importance of a strong social media presence. I believe that social media is most effective when there is a balance between content and creativity; it must strive to deliver information that is innovative, fresh and compelling, whilst always relating directly to the target audience.

In my spare time I manage an up-to-date WordPress blog, () where I showcase my crafting creations. I am currently in the process of building a new and exciting blog on WordPress that centres itself on health, fitness and the environment. I therefore have experience using a CMS and understand key SEO principles. I create a monthly editorial calendar that indicates when I should release content. Most importantly, I always strive to deliver engaging and original content that is guaranteed to captivate readers. I am also proficient in using Adobe Photoshop and have a basic understanding of Illustrator and InDesign.

I strongly believe that my experiences and sincere interest in this field will bring guaranteed results to the company. As well as developing my own skills, I would be sure to bring an abundance of innovative ideas, energy and expertise to the business.
