About me
I completed a BSc(Hons) in Digital Arts at Edinburgh Napier University achieved with honours and a MA in Digital Effects at Bournemouth University. I had also the opportunity to gain working experience creating motion graphics and editing for a creative company based in London. Furthermore, I have been involved in several vfx shots working as compositor for the feature film "Mirette" and creating the effects and compositing for the short movie "Dark Lights".
I took the determination to go into visual effects when I was already immersed in the audiovisual sector. Photography and video were also a key aspect in my daily life and I was in love with what vfx artists were doing with visuals in cinema, advertising and live shows. I am a fast imaginative mind passionate about challenges and the storytelling potential of visuals.
I hold a solid understanding of the vfx process and my experience in the use of cameras and lighting positively contribute to develop my skills and projects. I specialised in the use of Nuke for the successful integration of the final image and in Houdini for the elaboration of effects. I also manage other software such as PFTrack, Photoshop, After Effects or Premiere Pro and I have a good eye for detail, colour, matte extraction, tracking and moreover for the planning of filming to improve the possibilities of the final compositing.
In addition, I am a flexible and emphatic person who always considers the importance of communication and time management. I also have the ability and curiosity to explore new solutions to create consistency and interesting shots and new techniques to improve accuracy. I welcome constructive criticism with an active problem-solving attitude and I gladly consider that I am always in the process of learning.
