Problem: by the year 2050, 74%* of the world’s population are predicted to live in an urban environment. Growing populations living in concentrated areas dictate a need for greater space
efficiency.

MICRO is a multi-purpose home appliance that incorporates all the features of a kitchen into one object that requires minimum of space.

Micro has the following built-in features:
-washer - used to wash the hands and the ingredients (fruits, vegetables, fish, meat, etc.). It has sensors to identify the hands, and once these are detected, microparticles of water are vaporized in order to clean efficiently. In this way, the water consumption is highly reduced.
-preparation area - offers space for preparing the food (cut vegetables, mix ingredients, etc.).
-induction cooker - used to cook or heat the meal;
-dishwasher - uses UV light to remove the germs and bacteria from the dishes. Microparticles of water are also used to clean and rinse the dishes. By using this technology, the device reduces the energy and water consumption.
-fridge - located on the side of the appliance underneath the preparation area, is used to store food and keep it fresh.
