About me

For the last five years I have been the theatre editor of Entertainment Focus. I regularly review West End and fringe shows as well as conduct interviews with talent (face-to-face, phone or email) and actively seek news stories. On top of that I write original features.

I act as a freelance journalist for Gay Times Magazine. I have contributed four articles to date and am researching a fifth. This often involves arranging interviews and writing information as economically as possible.

For the Architects Registration Board (ARB) I have proofread their Annual Report. I am also assisting a leading British actor and director in researching his memoirs as well as proofreading and editing the finished text.

I have worked part-time at the Legal Aid Agency for nine years, in a technical support and customer service role.

I co-wrote a musical about newsreader Michael Buerk (Buerk! The Newsical) which ran in Leeds and London.

I have a daft pet ferret called Olive.
