ABOUT

A fun little project for a local pottery company, The Paint Box.

The brief was to create an iconic brand where the icon can be used across many mediums. It was essential not to use anything too cliche such as a paintbrush, paint splats or paint pots etc.

The logo I created was based on one of their popular pieces of pottery a giant button which she has hung up on her wall. Additionally, keeping it very friendly and in keeping within the target audience the icon is also a smiley face.

My client is incredibly active on social media so I needed the brand to be very sociable and strong. Extending the brand, I created a strong colour scheme which can be interchangeable depending on its purpose. Also in the brief, she wanted me to create a '10 year anniversary' sub brand, which she will use throughout the year.
