ABOUT

Channel 7 - The world's first community television commissioned KidotCo to rebrand their TV station. The channel had come an awful long way since it first aired on cable television and they effectively wanted to take the company to another level.

Their original brief was to create a brand which screamed out ‘community’ and ‘voice’. After all this is what the channel was all about, having a voice and working close with the community.

We came up with a branding concept which we felt portrayed them as a forward thinking company, which is modern and fun too. To support the new image we came up with a slogan which typified their rhetoric which was "Yours, Mine, Ours" which was weaved through all their marketing campaigns, indents and promotional work

In addition we re-invented the brand name to simple ‘seven - local tv’ and drop any connotations with the old branding known as 'Channel 7'.
