ABOUT

Mac The Ruby

Mac Motorcycles a new British motorcycle manufacturer, gearing up to start producing a range of fun exciting new bikes...

“Between us we’d designed, modified, built and ridden all sorts of motorcycles over the last 30 years and thought it was time to produce a motorcycle that reflected our philosophy.” A belief that the riding experience and the stories that go with motorcycle journeys seem to have been hijacked by technology and plastic and an innate fascination to over style”.

Designed and built in the UK using as much home grown manufactures as humanly possible, a labour of love over countless years. A belief that traditional simpler technics and processes/skills have real sustainable values in the modern world.

A truly human centric inclusive bike built for the male and female rider (a lower seat height, less weight and easier handlebar reach). Supplied with tool kit and the knowledge that no maintenance task is beyond the rider.

Ruby was launched at EICMA, Europe’s most prestigious motorcycle exhibition November of 2021 with considerable interest. Mac and Jam Sandwich are now in the process of finalising some minor parts for full production.

Jam Sandwich took the initial Air-cooled design:
• Designed the Tank, Hump, Seat and Seat bases, front and rear Guards, Stays, Air filter, Chain guard, Headlamps bracket and numerous other parts
• CMF design (colour material finish)
• Livery design (decals for Ruby & Rex)
• Reduced part costs
• Designed for manufacture
• Liaised with manufactures
• Helped with final manufacture

Look forward to seeing Ruby the Café racer and Rex the proceeding Flat tracker bikes very soon…
