About me

I currently have 9 years work experience as an Art Director in an Advertising Agency environment, having in the past worked at both Y&R SA and Volcano Advertising SA.

I am fully Mac literate, creatively/conceptually driven, highly motivated, hard working, no BS(most of the time), down to earth, approachable, friendly, adaptable, and a 120% kind of Art Director.

My job function includes: Working with a copywriter as a team to develop concepts, produce scamps, produce concept presentation layouts/final artwork layouts. Working with and briefing/art directing film directors, photographers,designers, illustrators, digital artists/designers etc. My work experience in the past has mainly been ATL/TTL print/press, some TV, some outdoor, and a bit of ambient advertising.

My main tools besides the 'grey-stuff' are, pencils/pens, lots of paper, Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Freehand, Quark and Acrobat. I am also out of self interest/necessity exploring other creative disciplines such as Flash, Dreamweaver, Fireworks and GoLive, which I have an acceptable, basic understanding of, and would in the future like to develop further.
