About me

I have just completed a 6 months temporary contract at Elanbach, a company which specialises in digital prints for home textiles. I have a genuine passion for print, surface pattern and trends. Elanbach, encouraged me to notice trends, research the industry and experiment with my approach to designing. In June 2013, I graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a degree in Textiles. During the course I specialised in Print design which complimented my passion for drawing and good eye for detail and colour. I have 5 years' experience within retail, working for River Island, which has given me an insight into an additional sector of the industry. During my time at River Island I have developed a range of skills, for example, communicating to others, working in a team, serving and advising customers and using my own initiative to make decisions. I have an engaging personality, friendly and I'm a highly motivated, imaginative individual who is enthusiastic about textile design.
