About me

I'm a Creative Director with a background in brand development. I help brands define their visual identity, and then bring that look and feel to life with both print and digital assets.
I started my graphic design career agency-side at a brand consultancy. I worked with an amazing team of strategists and designers to develop creative concepts and visual identities for our clients built on strong, strategic thinking. I worked on start ups through to huge, global businesses and although I've worked in a wide variety of industries, I have a particular focus in the luxury, retail and hospitality sectors. A few of my clients included LEGO, Jamie Oliver Group and Rosewood Hotel Group.
Later in my career, I took things client-side with cold water surf brand Finisterre, and the houseplant start-up Patch. I wanted to get closer to the execution of branding and identity. Even though I still can't surf or keep a fiddle-leaf fig alive, I now have a holistic understanding of creative needs in a business, and I've also been able to lean into my passion for art direction.
Working as a Creative Director in small business means I've had the opportunity to wade in on a huge range of projects and develop into a creative polymath. I've built creative strategies, evolved brand expression, and scaled content production including producing, styling and art directing photoshoots. I've also been able to grow and lead teams, which has only made me a stronger designer. I put a lot of energy into supporting and developing my teams, and I'm proud of the relationships I've built.

In a total betrayal of my creative soul, I'm also a strong project manager - I have to be. It's a skill I've developed through the need to balance multiple international clients and projects. And potentially through my inexplicable passion for writing lists. So, while I'm experienced in bringing brands to life through visuals and experiences, I'm also focussed, pragmatic, adaptable and reliable. Basically, you can trust me to deliver great work on time and on budget.

A creative to my core, I love the arts (all of them!), as well as food, fashion, books, nature and travel - a long, but real list. I genuinely believe my curiosity powers the quality of my work. And if nothing else, I will happily talk to you at length about any of them.
