About me

My name is Javier Perez , and I am looking to take the next step within the Media World. I am a very motivated individual willing to get hands on and stuck in. I am currently working for IPC Media which are one of the biggest Magazine Publishers within the UK dealing with big titles such as: MARIE CLAIRE, LOOK, WOMAN & HOME, LIVING ETC, HORSE & HOUND, NME. I work within the Production Team and my main responsibilities are to maintain advertising workflow on my designated titles to ensure they run according to schedule deadlines (weekly and monthly magazines). This role allowed me to experience more creative software packages such as Photoshop and In-design. Working alongside a large Sales team in collecting and ensuring all artwork is paid for, correct and finalised, ready to be set on the pages and sent down to print. This role has allowed me to gain more creative based skills which I have infused into my vast administrative qualities.
